It seemed like 3 miles, and in actuality it was 20 yards. But as a kid to take out the trash, I had to walk down 3 flights of stairs, unlock the deadbolt, walk to the alley (after going through a underpass which was another coach house) drop off the trash and return to safety. I could do this in 3.6 seconds flat. Not because I was looking for a good time, but because I was motivated by fear. I just read a fascinating article in the times (GO HERE):

It talks of a patient they named SM. SM is unique because she has ZERO fear.  So I had to ask myself, "What would I do if I had Zero fear". Which then led to "Why do I let fear stop me from anything?" (my mind is complicated). Heres that "pregnant" sentence that gave birth to my wonderings in the article:e:
"Her lack of fear has many times caused her to place her own life in danger".

So is the way to combat fear, to LIVE DANGEROUSLY? hmmmm? The more danger the less fear?

If your a believer, you know the bible says "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline".
So if GOD didn't give it to us, Someone (thing) did. Cause it's there. Whether your a believer, a dreamer, a visionary, or just plain human. You should NEVER "allow" something that God himself did not give you to stop you from anything...EVER.

Ask yourself this question: If you were like "SM" and had no fear, what would you have done/do differently? What job would you have taken? where would you have moved?  What career path would you have changed at a moments notice?  What girl/guy would you have spoken to? W

Top Tip to fight fear:
**Kill the gut (that feeling you get, never allow it to make a single decision for you). If your only answer is "because I'm scared". Do it. Create a process to kill it.
